Inspired by Spain - Stunning Skirt and Princess Top

Hello Everyone!
Hope your day is going great...
But before I get to the point... don't forget to participate in the give-away to win a $50.00 Shabby Apple gift certificate. Give-away is on through Friday.

So...
Every once in a while I will notice that some of my items in my Etsy shop are in need of a makeover.
I look at the listing/item and wonder...
What does the shopper see?
Or even worse... What does the shopper not see?

The same thing happened last week.
I had listed "this" skirt a couple months back... when studying the photo's I realized that the model was wearing a Corduroy Jacket and the skirt seemed stuck to the legs - because it was a cold windy day.
So I guess what I am trying to say...
"The photo did not do the skirt/item any good :( "

And... so we did a new shoot and the light was great!

When I first saw this fabric I fell for its warm colors and they brought me back to warm memories of Spain.
The Cote d'azur, a vacation to Torrevieja and Salou.

Gorgeous boulevards, Flamengo dancers and Great Matadors - Bull Fighters with their Bright Colorful outfits.

I love how the Sunset made her skin look like gold and the Turquoise hat and the Turquoise and Red in the skirt and top really pop! Of course I had to add my own Cowgirl Western swing to it...
And instead of a Red flower in the hair we decided on a hat!

I have the skirt... but the more I look at these photo's I really want the top as well.
So... guess what I will be making soon for Moi? This top!
And... shirring is so figure flattering and feminine.
Summer here I come!
What are your favorite colors to wear? Do you like neutral, vibrant or softer colors as pastels?
Or are you a lover of all things in Black?

Before I go...
You have till tomorrow midnight to have a chance to participate to win a $50.00 gift certificate
from Shabby Apple!
Yes a Fifty dollar gift certificate!

Go to their site and check out their wonderful line of Vintage Clothing!
You will find the link to the give-away post in my side bar (to the left and scroll down).
Click on that and it will take you directly to the post!

I can tell you want the viewer sees...the obvious and that's how beautiful your model is...and the skirt is very lovely. Only if I was young again and thinner...that would look beautiful on me. I too love the colors. Fantastic job Sandy as usually.!

Hello Loretta and Rita,

Thank you so much for your always so sweet encouraging cheers on my blog...
And... by the way, shirring is super forgiving (actually accentuates the curves) and the cut of the skirt has a slimming effect.

Wear what makes you feel beautiful and happy, you will always feel young!

Hugs...

Sandy
